Amy Rose - Rehabilitation Coordinator
Amy is a Rehabilitation Coordinator within the Client Rehabilitation Service, which is part of the Injury Services group at Ashtons Legal.
Amy studied BSc Occupational Therapy at the University of East Anglia, qualifying in 2012. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
Amy started her career as an Occupational Therapist at one of the region’s NHS hospitals, covering areas including Orthopaedics, Hand Therapy, General Medicine and Haematology and Oncology. Amy has spent almost a decade working within statutory services as a Senior Occupational Therapist, where she gained vast experience in helping individuals to transition from the acute hospital setting to home following injury or ill health.
Amy is skilled in ensuring that individuals have all the required support in place to optimise their rehabilitation and recovery, including working with a multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals and other agencies and charities. Whilst working in social care, Amy developed a particular expertise within the provision of specialist equipment, moving and handling, and the assessment of home adaptations.
Amy is passionate about helping break down the barriers that individuals face. Amy’s focus is to empower individuals, helping them to achieve the skills and confidence to continue their daily lives with purpose and meaning following injury.
Outside of work, Amy values spending time with her friends and family and going to the gym.
