Alexandra Aizlewood - Paralegal
Alexandra is a Paralegal in our Medical Negligence team.
She assists Sharon Allison in all aspects of her cases, including complex catastrophic birth and brain injury claims, as well as complex fatal claims.
Alexandra graduated in 2021, obtaining a Law Degree (LLB with honours) from Cardiff University. She is currently studying part-time for her Legal Practice Course.
Alexandra has previously worked as a Paralegal for a Cardiff-based firm during her placement year at university, focusing on Personal Injury work. She then became a Paralegal full-time for a national firm during her last year of university, working in their Medical Negligence department until she graduated in June 2022.
Alexandra aims to ensure that individuals who have suffered an injury feel listened to and validated about their concerns regarding their medical care, as well as obtaining compensation for their losses. Emotional support is often as important as financial support for people’s wellbeing in such difficult circumstances, and she strives to ensure the legal process is as easy and accessible as possible by being approachable and empathetic.
Alexandra enjoys working on medical negligence cases specifically because she has an interest in medicine and finds the process of investigating these claims very interesting. She gains satisfaction in assisting our clients achieve an outcome that will make a positive difference to their lives.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys yoga, cooking and walking her Westie, Lola.
