£65,000 obtained for a man who was injured in a road traffic collision

Siobhan Thacker, a senior associate in our Personal Injury team, has obtained £65,000 compensation for a man who sustained severe leg injuries, pelvic fractures and suffered a blow to the head, after the vehicle he was travelling in was hit by a car at high speed.

Mr A was a front seat passenger in a car when the driver of the vehicle pulled out of a junction, into the path of an oncoming vehicle, causing a collision to the passenger side.

As a result of the collision, Mr A had to take time off work for treatment and recovery, leading to loss of earnings and he now has fewer future employment opportunities due to the longevity of his injuries and recovery.
