£200,000 settlement for pedestrian who suffered traumatic brain injury
Siobhan Thacker has obtained £200,000 for a lady who suffered a traumatic brain injury and numerous serious injuries after she was hit by a car travelling at high speed.
Ms U instructed Ashtons after she became frustrated with the lack of support her previous solicitors were providing her. They also had no experience in dealing with the type of brain injury Ms U suffered.
During her stay in hospital, Ms U required two separate surgeries on her injuries including on her rib fractures.
As a result of her traumatic brain injury, Ms U continues to suffer from memory loss, confusion, balance issues and fatigue. She also continues to suffer from pain in her left leg and reduced strength in her left arm.
Siobhan comments: “This is a great settlement for Ms U who, previous to the accident, was physically fit and healthy and had just started her own business. Due to her injuries, her working ability has dramatically reduced and she still suffers a significant amount of pain on a daily basis.”
