‘There is always room’ for new businesses

More people could be prompted to seek legal services in order to set up their own businesses after the comments of one industry expert.
Damian Reece, head of business at the Telegraph Media Group, said that there is always space for new small businesses in the market, as long as they have an innovative approach to the service they are offering.
‘All the economic news is pretty grim at the moment, [but] on the whole, it is getting slightly better. For me, that is often the best time to start a business if you’ve got the capital [and] the ideas,’ Mr Reece suggested.
He added that it doesn’t cost that much to start a new firm and the current financial climate will mean that things will only pick up in the next few years.
A survey by PayPoint.net recently showed that 64 per cent of office workers in the UK believe that they would be more fulfilled by their job if they ran their own business, with online companies being the most popular idea.
