Successful personal injury claim for injured student

Kerry Jones, a personal injury lawyer at Ashtons Legal, has settled an injury claim for over four times more than the £1,000 offer initially made by the insurers. The injury was incurred by a student who was a passenger in a car which was involved in a traffic incident. She initially hoped her symptoms would go and so didn’t bring a claim straight away but when they persisted decided to take action. The insurers started out by disputing that she was in the car at all and then alleged that she couldn’t have suffered any injuries because the accident happened at low speed. Fortunately we were able to obtain evidence to prove that this was all incorrect and she now has sufficient compensation to obtain additional physiotherapy to help restore her to full health.
