Solicitors ‘are the safest option for writing Wills’

Getting an expert solicitor to draw up Wills is the best way to ensure an estate is divided up the way the subject wants, Britons have been reminded.
Ruth Jackson of Money Week said that although DIY kits are available for Wills, there are more and more cases of people making mistakes with them at present.
“One little mistake can make your Will worthless. Getting a solicitor to write up your Will is by far the safest option,” she commented.
The expert pointed out that it is best to get Wills drawn up sooner rather than later – just in case – and explained that mirror Wills may be one option where a couple has the same requirements.
Last month, Emma Simon of the Telegraph stressed the importance of having Wills properly signed and witnessed and suggested it is best to avoid asking beneficiaries for help in getting them drawn up, as this could lead to disputes later.
