£8,500 obtained following negligent surgery

Ashtons Legal’s Sharon Allison has obtained £8,500 for Mr X, whose surgery left him with more problems than the benign cyst it removed. The removal of Mr X’s facial cyst should have been a straightforward procedure resulting in a small, neat scar the size of a spot. Instead he was left with a wound which failed to heal properly and led to scarring which was far more obvious than the original cyst. He has since had to undergo further surgery to try to correct the problem.
