Ashtons Legal personal injury specialist Louise Harper has obtained over £7,000 for a woman who suffered a fractured ankle after stepping off a kerb and falling on a very uneven ridged surface. The injury occurred as Ms T was leaving Ipswich railway station and the uneven surface had been caused by the tyres of the buses using the nearby bus bay.

Louise comments: “Anyone who is responsible for land used by the public has a duty to maintain it to an appropriate standard and, if necessary, to alert people to anything which might cause injury. Unfortunately for Ms T, this was not the case here, resulting in the pain and inconvenience that goes with a fractured ankle.”
