Tim Gleave, a personal injury lawyer at Ashtons Legal, has obtained £4,000 in compensation for Mrs T after she fell on defective paving and ended up with a fractured finger. Mrs T suffers from multiple sclerosis and was aware that the defective paving at her rented property presented a hazard for her. Her physiotherapist had asked Mrs T’s housing association landlords to fix the paving but this was not done in a timely manner and Mrs T did then fall, injuring herself.

Tim Gleave comments: “These sorts of circumstance are frustrating because if the housing association had taken prompt action to fix the hazard when it was first identified then Mrs T’s injury could have been prevented.”
