£17,000 obtained for man who fell in London hospital

Ashtons Legal clinical negligence specialist Julie Crossley has obtained a £17,000 settlement for Mr T from North London after he suffered injuries as the result of a fall while in hospital.Mr T was admitted to hospital in London with a suspected leaking aortic aneurysm. However, his GP’s referral letter went missing resulting in a delay in his treatment. While waiting on a ward for his treatment to begin he collapsed during a visit to the bathroom and suffered additional injuries. These could have been prevented if the paperwork had not been mislaid and his treatment had begun more promptly.
