£125,000 compensation obtained following a road traffic accident

Tom Ranson, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal, has obtained compensation for Mrs M who required medical treatment and specialist orthopaedic review after suffering a ‘whiplash’ injury which then gave rise to a chronic pain condition following a road traffic collision back in April 2011.

Mrs M is a part-time hairdresser; she has been able to continue working since her accident but has had to accommodate her permanent symptoms by working for shorter periods than before she suffered her injuries. Having rejected previous offers from the insurers to settle, she was pleased that she followed our advice, with the final settlement figure of £125,000 being significantly greater than the original amount offered.
