Siobhan McWhinney, a personal injury specialist solicitor at Ashtons Legal, has obtained settlements in excess of £115,000 for the wife and children of a man who died when he and his son were passengers in a car which crashed into a tree.

The driver was travelling too fast and lost control of his vehicle on a dual carriageway; the car left the road and collided with the tree. Mr F was one of three people who died in the accident; his son survived but suffered both psychiatric and physical injuries.

Siobhan comments: “No amount of money can replace a family member who has died, but the compensation obtained will help to ensure that Mr F’s wife and children are not at a financial disadvantage as they seek to rebuild their lives.”
