Over £5500 for Suffolk lady following accident in car park

Louise Harper, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons, has obtained over £5500 for a lady who suffered damaged ligaments and soft tissue leg injuries when she fell into a deep gully in a poorly lit pub car park. Unfortunately the accident has left her with constant pain because the fall accelerated existing degenerative change. 

Louise comments: “This type of accident shouldn’t happen. Occupiers who encourage the public onto their premises then owe a duty of care to these visitors to ensure that they are reasonably safe. Although the pub landlord remedied the problem after this incident, it is unfortunate that the safety precautions were not taken earlier.”
