Norwich firm to create 100 new jobs

A firm based in Norwich has revealed it is to create 100 new jobs in the city.Science company Anglia DNA is launching a new work-based drug and alcohol testing service and it has invested £500,000 on kitting out a new laboratory as part of the move.According to a report by the Eastern Daily Press, Mid Norfolk MP George Freeman officially opened the facility, which is the only one of its kind in the east of England.Thomas Haizel, managing director of the company, suggested positive feedback from solicitors and local government had encouraged the firm to expand into this field.”The benefit of the Claritest service is that it will provide an objective assessment of the person’s drug habits.” he said.Greggs and Next both recently revealed plans to create new jobs in East Anglia by opening new facilities in the area.Posted by Hywel Griffiths
