NHS litigation authority slammed for increase in legal costs

The body which fights legal cases on behalf of the NHS has been slammed for an increase in legal costs in cases involving medical accidents, accusing the NHS of wasting taxpayers money by fighting hopeless causes.
Sandra Patton, a member of Ashtons Legal’s specialist clinical negligence team, accuses the NHS Litigation Authority of wasting taxpayers’ money by fighting hopeless cases.
