Nelson’s Journey Smile Awards

Ashtons Legal are honoured to be recognised alongside other local organisations in Norwich recently at the Nelson’s Journey Smile Awards ceremony.

Norwich-based charity Nelson’s Journey has been going from strength to strength in recent years as the news of their valuable support for bereaved children in Norfolk spreads. Their newly created Smile Awards recognise the contributions made by the charity’s supporters. and providers. 

Awards were presented for employee and financial contributions, most innovative support, major sponsor recognition and best long term supporter.  Ashtons Legal were surprised, delighted and honoured to win not only the ‘Best In-Kind Support Award’ but also the ‘Overall Impact Award’.  The award for the Best In-Kind Support recognition was largely as a result of Ashtons Legal allowing Nelson’s Journey to use space in our Norwich offices rent-free for over three years.  During this time we also supported them in other ways including nominating them as one of our charities of the year and attending their fund raising events.  Various members of the Ashtons Legal team have also supported Nelson’s Journey on an individual basis over the past few years and we look forward to being able to continue to find ways to support them in the future.

Other winners were Aviva, Handelsbanken, Rosedale Funeral Home, Norwich Print Solutions, Rogers & Norton, Hilltop Outdoor Centre and Alan Boswell Group.
