Ashtons Legal shortlisted for national award
Posted 10/04/2011
The Ashtons Legal injury teams are in the running for the ‘Client Care Initiative – Legal Services’ Award at the Claims Innovation Awards 2011. The award is being judged on four key criteria:
– Demonstrating an innovative approach to improving and maintaining aspects of client care
– Providing client care above industry norms
– Ability to maintain high levels of client care event at times of crisis
– Showing ability to provide access to justice.
Ashtons Legal is listed alongside three other firms in the shortlist, two from the North West and one from Scotland. The accolade will be presented to the winning firm at the Award Dinner which takes place in Manchester in early May.
Ruth Booy, who heads the firm’s Personal Injury team, says: “As a team we have been strongly committed to providing top-class client service for many years, but it is a bonus when other people in our industry recognise this as one of our core strengths. In 2009 we were shortlisted in the ‘Customer Care Plus’ category at the Eastern Daily Press Business Awards, losing out at the final hurdle to the John Lewis Partnership. The Claims Innovation Awards are geared to a niche sector of the business community but we are competing against firms from all over the country and it is an endorsement in itself to be the only short-listed firm based in the South-East irrespective of who wins the Award on the night.”
