Jobs created in Great Yarmouth

Jobs are being created every month by a firm based in Great Yarmouth, data has shown.Marine survey firm Gardline Marine Sciences has been adding around 20 new members of staff to its workforce every month for the last year-and-a-half.The company has won numerous new contracts over the course of the last 18 months and has had to expand its staff to meet demand as a result, reports the Eastern Daily Press.John Morse, head of the renewables group at Gardline Marine Sciences, told the newspaper there are 87 vacancies at the company, which employed 43 new starters in July.He said :”We are taking on people all over the place. That is not replacements, that is new positions.”Gardline specialises in geophysical, hydrographic, environmental, oceanographic and geotechnical surveys and the firm prides itself on being able to deliver data in a safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on the environment.
