Jobs created as bed firm opens Norwich factory

Jobs have been created in Norwich as a result of the opening of a new bed factory.Mattressman has made ten positions at the new site and is hoping to double the workforce over the course of the next two or three years.According to a report by the Eastern Daily Press, Andrew Kerry has invested £250,000 in the British Bed Company, in Rice Way, off Salhouse Road, and he stated he is proud to be able to open a new factory in Norwich.”I have always wanted to have my own factory to experiment with my own designs and materials. I am very into fashion and textiles. Now I have got my own factory I can do it myself,” he was quoted as saying by the newspaper.Mattressman claims to be one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, as well as one of the country’s leading suppliers of bed frames, mattresses, bedroom furniture and sleeping accessories.Posted by Hywel Griffiths
