Hats off to Headway
Posted 19/05/2013
Staff at Ashtons Legal have been donning hats in support of the brain injury charity, Headway. The ‘Hats 4 Headway Day’ initiative takes place each year to raise funds for the charity. On Friday 17 May, staff in the firm’s Cambridge (pictured above) and Thetford (pictured below) offices came into work wearing hats of all shapes and sizes and made a donation to the charity. The aim behind the initiative is to help raise awareness of those affected by brain injury and the people who care for them.
The firm has a long-standing relationship with Headway, whose valuable work with people who have suffered head injuries is well known. Ruth Booy, Partner and Head of Injury Services at Ashtons Legal is a Trustee of Headway Cambridgeshire and Tom Cook, Partner and Medical Injury Solicitor, is a Trustee of West Suffolk Headway. Our injury teams have worked with a number of Headway clients, helping them to get the best compensation package to which they are entitled. Although money can never take the place of good health, it can help people to get their lives back on track and make it easier for families to arrange suitable care and support.
