Government funding available for rural projects

Ashtons Legal are urging those involved in projects which create jobs and growth in the rural economy to apply for grant funding under the Government’s RDPE Growth Programme.

In Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, there is about £5m worth of grants to be allocated before January 2018.

You could be eligible for a Growth Programme grant if your business is carrying out a project to create jobs or bring more money into the rural economy.

There are 3 types of grant:

• Business development
• Food processing
• Rural tourism infrastructure.
