‘Consult conveyancing solicitors early’ when selling

Anyone thinking of selling their home should seek the advice of a specialist conveyancing

This is according to Lorna Vestey, financial advisor at the Telegraph, who was explaining the process and costs of downsizing following a reader enquiry.

‘You will need to instruct a solicitor, preferably a local firm with an active conveyancing

Ms Vestey added that solicitors will usually charge half a per cent of the property price for conveyancing

Vanessa Hoare, who heads the Ashtons Legal residential team, comments: ‘I fully endorse the suggestion that conveyancing

Last month, the Small Business News blog urged anyone wanting to buy or sell a home to use a proper residential conveyancing

The portal pointed out that it may be more difficult for the public to deal with the Land Registry than it would be for a legal expert.
