Compensation for botched cosmetic procedure

Julie Crossley, a medical injury lawyer at Ashtons Legal, has obtained over £5,000 for a lady, Mrs L, who suffered an allergic reaction to laser treatment for facial thread veins. The staff at the clinic she attended, which has since gone out of business, failed to stick to the clinic’s guidelines about pre-treatment patch tests. They also failed to act promptly when she was showing signs of swelling and discomfort at her post-treatment review. 

Mrs L still suffers with hyper-sensitivity to heat and various facial products and her confidence has been severely affected by her botched laser treatment.
