A growing number of Brits may be looking into hiring a solicitor to discuss their options regarding insolvency.

This is because, according to new research from Post Office Savings, more and more people are worried about inflation and their financial situation.

The study discovered 93 per cent of Brits are concerned about the effect rising prices are going to have on their savings.

Furthermore, advice may be required by a significant number of individuals, as the research found many do not fully understand the impact inflation is having on their funds.

Director of savings and investments at the Post Office Richard Norman said the high levels of inflation mean “people may find they’re effectively losing money on their savings”.

This comes after the latest MoneyMood Survey from Legal & General revealed many Brits may be struggling to cope financially, as 1.3 million households are worse off money-wise than they were nine months ago.

The team at Ashtons Legal can offer professional advice to anyone facing the prospect of insolvency.
