Brits ‘still want to purchase property’

Many people in the UK could be looking for advice from a residential conveyancing solicitor.

This is because, according to director at Property & Finance Solutions Darren Owen, the desire to purchase a home “has never gone away”.

He stated that there is still an undersupply of dwellings in Britain and, as a result, the country has a “good” housing market.

However, abodes that are available can only be obtained if individuals are able to borrow money, Mr Owen explained.

“Once the financing comes back to the market then people will start to perk up because the demand for buying houses has never gone away,” he continued.

The expert described funding as “key” to investment in property.

His comments come after Nationwide revealed at the end of last month that house prices increased by 0.2 per cent in July.

This meant the average cost of an abode in the UK reached £168,731, although this was 0.4 per cent lower than the same time the previous year.
