The inaugural Regional Agricultural Awards Dinner will be taking place at Trinity Park, Ipswich tonight. The black tie event will celebrate the successes of the region’s farming community, with the winners of the prestigious BALE (Best Alternative Land Enterprise) award and the Suffolk Agricultural Association’s annual Farm Business Competition to be announced.
Over 200 guests are expected to attend the Oscars style awards ceremony and the founder of GU puddings, James Averdieck will be the guest speaker.
Ashtons Legal is delighted to be sponsoring the BALE awards once again this year. We have supported the annual competition since it was established 21 years ago with the aim of celebrating the best farming diversification businesses across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. Jonathan Long, Head of Agriculture and Estates at Ashtons Legal was on the judging panel and will be announcing the winners at tonight’s ceremony.
