Ashtons Legal sponsors DanceEast’s community dance project

Ashtons Legal is delighted to be sponsoring DanceEast’s largest and most ambitious community dance performance, Finding Home, which will be performed on Saturday 15 March at the Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich.

The performance brings together young people and adults from across Suffolk and is produced by the Learning & Participation team at DanceEast under the artistic direction of Tom Hobden Dance.

The cast includes 200 performers from local primary and secondary schools in the Babergh, Mid Suffolk and Forest Heath districts. The aim of the project is to bring dance to children and young people who may not otherwise have had the opportunity to be involved in the arts. There will be two performances at the DanceHouse tomorrow, and a further performance at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds on Friday 4 April.
