Ashtons Legal sponsors Business Roadshows

Ashtons Legal is pleased to be sponsoring five major Business Roadshows taking place across Norfolk and Suffolk next month. These region-wide events, launched by Business Shaper Group and New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will highlight the wealth of grants, funding opportunities, free business support and training available to business owners as they prepare their organisations for the future.

The first leg will see the roadshow team visit Kings Lynn, Newmarket, Dereham, Thetford, and Diss. The aim will be to roll out the roadshows in towns across Suffolk and Norfolk to benefit over 1,000 businesses. “This is a challenging time for some businesses, but many people are unaware of the wide range of support available to help companies compete, thrive and prepare for the future. This is why we felt it was important to work with New Anglia LEP to find a way to deliver this information directly to businesses on their own door-step,” said Gary Douglas-Beet, Managing Director of the Business Shaper Group.

He continued: “There are over 8,000 free grants and funding options available to help business owners finance the growth of their business, some from as little as £500 to over £100,000. These events aim to demystify how to access them, how to submit successful applications as well as the business support that is available in the region. Quite simply, many funding suppliers fail to market their proposition to the very businesses they are intended for, so many either go unclaimed or are accessed by organisations who have the time and resource to find and apply for them.”

The roadshows will be taking place on the following dates: Kings Lynn: Monday 2 December
Newmarket: Tuesday 3 December
Dereham: Wednesday 4 December
Thetford: Thursday 5 December
Diss: Friday 6 December
