Ashtons Legal fields its largest team to date for Girls Night Out walk

Eighteen ladies from Ashtons Legal’s Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Ipswich and Norwich offices are taking part in Girls Night Out 2015. The sponsored event, which is taking place on Saturday 12 September this year, raises money for St Nicholas Hospice Care. In 2014 the event raised £150,000.
Mary Porch, Business Development Director at Ashtons Legal who is one of the team walking, says:
“We are thrilled to be entering a large team again this year. We have participated every year since Girls Night Out was launched and have received great support from colleagues, friends and family in the lead up to the event and on the night itself. The event is absolutely wonderful – the atmosphere is amazing with a real sense of camaraderie amongst the walkers with the marshals and many others spurring us on! Best of all we go home with aching feet but knowing we have helped raise money for this fantastic cause”.
St Nicholas Hospice Care works compassionately in the fields of life-threatening illness, death and bereavement. They provide practical, medical and spiritual support to people in the West Suffolk area and their families living with an illness that is life threatening; such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, heart or lung disease.
The Ashtons Legal team are raising money for the Hospice through the Ashtons Legal Charitable Trust. Anyone wishing to support them can do so at https://mydonate.bt.com/events/girlsnightout/231940
