Ashtons Legal clients enjoy economic analysis from Justin Urquhart Stewart at Ickworth House

Justin Urquhart Stewart this week treated Ashtons Legal Solicitors and Ashtons Legal Financial Planning clients to an overview of the economy and investments at a seminar held in the West Wing at Ickworth House.Justin convinced delegates of the potential for financial gain despite the current economic pain. In his usual inimitable style, almost approaching ‘thinking man’s stand-up comedy’, he worked his way around the world providing insightful analysis of markets and explaining why many politicians’ approaches to managing their respective economies leaves quite a lot to be desired. It was interesting to hear this theme echoed the following morning on Radio 2 when Chris Evans asked Justin for commentary and then suggested his listeners might think that Justin ought to be running the Treasury!Justin’s presentation was supported by Alison Budge and Matthew Cameron from Ashtons Legal, and Paul Russell from Ashtons Legal Financial Planning, talking about Inheritance Tax Planning opportunities and the perils of relying on an English Will if you own a French property. If you would like to be invited to similar events in the future, please contact Toby Whittacker-Cook.
