Ashtons Legal bowling event raises funds for three local charities

Ashtons Legal’s charity bowling event, which took place at the Kingpin Bowling Centre near Ipswich last night, has raised £750 for three local charities.

Over the past year, Ashtons Legal staff have been raising funds for Macmillan, Magpas and Nelson’s Journey, and the bowling event marked the end of our fundraising year.

A range of local firms took part in the bowling competition, which – for the second year running – was won by Ensors, with an impressive score of 705! HSBC were second place runners up and MLM came third.

As well as two rounds of bowling, the event also included a raffle, which raised over £200. We were pleased to welcome Mandy Jordan, Fundraising Manager at Macmillan, who was presented with a cheque for £4,000 for the funds raised for Macmillan during the year.
