Ashtons Legal bowling event raises funds for local charities

Ashtons Legal organised a charity bowling event last night at the Kingpin Bowling Centre near Ipswich. The firm has been raising funds for local charities, EACH, Big C and Headway during 2012-13 and this event marked the end of our fundraising year.

16 local companies attended the event, which involved a bowling tournament. The closely run competition was won by Ensors, with PKF in second place and Handelsbanken Ipswich coming third.We were pleased to welcome Nikki Brown from EACH and Martyn Rouse from Ipswich & East Suffolk Headway. Sue Bailey, Chair of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) committee, presented each of them with cheques totalling over £5,600 for the funds raised by Ashtons Legal staff over the past year.

We also held a raffle and an auction during the evening. The total amount raised was £1,750.
