Ashtons advise on sale of Dingles Motor Group

Ashtons Legal has advised well-known Norfolk businessman John Dingle, owner of Dingles Motor Group, on its sale to Sussex-based St Leonard’s Motors in early July for an undisclosed seven figure sum.

As a result of the purchase, St Leonard’s Motors gains Toyota, Hyundai and Isuzu franchises in Norwich, Lowestoft and Attleborough, in addition to its existing six site operation.

Dingles Motor Group was established by George Dingle in 1919 and it remained a family-run business with John Dingle at the helm having joined the family business in 1975, as the third generation Dingle.
