Alan Brown appointed as Trustee at the Theatre Royal

Alan Brown, Head of Individual Client Services at Ashtons Legal Solicitors, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds.

The firm has been a proud sponsor of the Theatre since 1998, supporting various in-house productions and events, most recently the production of Stagefright, ‘Chefs on Stage’, a ‘Dinner and Divas’ event which took place in February 2014, and the ‘Antiques Stageshow’ event which is coming up in June.

Alan commented: “I’m delighted to have been appointed to the Board of the Theatre Royal, which is a fantastic cultural resource for the community in Bury and beyond. We should all be extremely proud to have a Regency playhouse at the heart of the town, which hosts a fascinating calendar of both traditional and contemporary events each year.”

Theatre Royal Director, Karen Simpson said: “We’re delighted that Alan is joining our Board. Ashtons Legal are very involved in our work at Theatre Royal and Alan’s appointment will really strengthen our team with his legal expertise but also his great local knowledge and passion for what we do.”
