A member of Ashtons Legal’s family team qualifies as a trained mediator

Tina Inniss, a Legal Executive in Ashtons Legal’s Family team, has qualified as a Resolution trained mediator. She is now the second qualified mediator at the firm, alongside Brenda Head.As a trained mediator, Tina is now able to mediate in family issues, from relationship breakdown to children’s issues. Many people will be aware that Legal Aid funding for many aspects of family law is coming to an end in April. However, funding for mediation will remain, so Ashtons Legal will still be able to offer mediation under the Legal Aid system.Mediation is a good alternative for many couples whose relationship is in difficulty. The process helps couples to reach an agreement about matters such as their children, finances and property.
