£600k settlement obtained for injured motorcyclist

Richard Foyster, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal, has obtained over £600,000 in a settlement for a motorcyclist who was involved in a collision causing him severe injuries both physically and psychologically.

Mr J was injured in an incident with a car, with both sides disputing liability and ultimately settling before trial. The claim for 100% liability against the driver of the car could have reached £1.5 million. Ashtons also secured interim payments and funding whilst liability was disputed by the defendant. This enabled the use of a rehabilitation regime and a case manager.
