£60,000 obtained for retired carpenter with asbestosis
Phoebe Osborne, an asbestos-related disease claim specialist at Ashtons Legal, has obtained £60,000 for a retired Norfolk carpenter.
Mr I, who was exposed to asbestos throughout the early part of his working life in several different organisations, was diagnosed with asbestosis several years after retiring.
Phoebe Osborne comments: “Mr I came to see us almost immediately after receiving his diagnosis which has enabled us to obtain compensation to help improve his quality of life. He is a regular attendee of Anglia Asbestos Disease Support Group where he has found the meetings to be helpful in learning more about his condition whilst socialising with others who understand his situation. Sadly, not everyone does this and, all too often, we find ourselves completing claims for families who have already lost a loved one.”
