£277,000 obtained for Norfolk man diagnosed with mesothelioma
Richard Foyster has obtained a settlement of £277,000 for a Norfolk man who had regular exposure to asbestos in his working environment over 40 years ago and was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma.
Richard, who heads the personal injury team at Ashtons Legal and specialises in asbestos-related and other industrial diseases, comments: “One of the most important aspects of bringing a claim for an asbestos-related disease is not giving up until all avenues have been explored. In this case, one set of insurers’ solicitors tried to deter us by saying that the claim would fail and another of the defendants was uninsured. This is an area of law where seeking advice from a solicitor with experience of these types of hurdle is important in order to give the mesothelioma sufferer’s family the best chance of obtaining an appropriate level of compensation.”
