Six figure personal injury settlement for a jogger who was hit by a car

Mr P, who was in his 60s at the time of the incident, sustained a brain injury which affected his short-term memory, some aspects of his speech, and his mood. He also suffered multiple serious orthopaedic injuries.

While Mr P would have preferred that the incident had never occurred, the six-figure settlement obtained will cover the cost of all of his treatment, ensure that he is not out of pocket due to loss of income, and also provide something to compensate in part for the pain he has suffered and the long-term effects on his life that have been caused by his injuries.

From a legal viewpoint, managing to obtain an early admission of liability and gain the co-operation of the insurers so that full rehabilitation can be started as soon as possible is immensely helpful as it maximises the prospects of an injured person making the best possible recovery.”
