£95,000 injury settlement obtained for a man with back and neck injuries

Mick Upton, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal, has negotiated a claim settlement of £95,000 for a client following a road traffic collision.

His claim was initially valued at less than £25,000 until it became clear that his neck and back injuries had accelerated a pre-existing medical problem by around five years. At this point, the consequences of his injuries were recognised as having more of an impact on his future life than was previously thought, and a higher settlement figure could be justified.
