Ashton’s Legal obtain £50,000 compensation for Norfolk lady injured by a horse.

Tim Gleave, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal, has obtained a settlement of £50,000 for Mrs N, a lady in her 80s who was kicked by a horse when out on an organised ride. Mrs N suffered fractures to her lower leg which caused her considerable pain and inconvenience, leaving her dependent on others while the injuries healed.  This took longer than it might have done in someone much younger.

Tim comments: “It is not always easy to bring a claim when an injury is caused by an animal, but in this case, the owner of the horse that inflicted the injury had insurance to cover this sort of unfortunate incident so we were able to achieve the right result.”
