£199,000 obtained for spinal injury client

One of our serious injury specialists, Alexandra Lush, has obtained a six-figure settlement to help Mr P, a young man in his early 20s, get his life back on track following a serious road traffic collision last summer.

Mr P suffered both spinal and psychiatric injuries in the accident. Early access to rehabilitation was agreed with the other driver’s insurer along with interim payments to help our client maximise his recovery. Alexandra was also able to refer Mr P to our in-house rehabilitation and benefits advisors who were able to provide tailored support to Mr P throughout the duration of the case.

Alexandra comments: “We are delighted to have been able to advise Mr P, whose life had been turned upside down as a result of the serious orthopaedic and psychiatric injuries he suffered in the road collision last summer. In addition to accessing early treatment and interim funds, it was also important to ensure Mr P was seen by a leading spinal surgeon and psychiatrist, to ensure his injuries were fully investigated and the cost of any associated future treatment and support was considered. Mr P is now trying to move on and put the trauma of the last 18 months behind him and we wish him all the very best.”
