£15,000 obtained for traffic collision victim with lacerated spleen

Nick Peake, a personal injury specialist at Ashtons Legal, has obtained a settlement for Mr T after a traffic collision left him with a lacerated spleen.

Nick has obtained over £15,000 for Mr T  by persevering with his claim where others might have given up.

Mr T was in a queue of traffic in his car when a lorry drove into him from behind and shunted him across the carriageway and into another stationary vehicle.  He was hospitalised with a lacerated spleen and injuries to his neck and wrist.  When Ashtons began Mr T’s claim, the lorry driver’s insurers initially failed to respond and then made a low offer, alleging that Mr T was not being honest about his injuries.
