Support local charities by making a Will during Wills Week
Have you made a Will? Is your current Will up-to-date? Ashtons Legal is encouraging people to make 2014 the year they finally get round to making a Will.
Our Wills Week is running from 24 – 28 February 2014. Why not make a Will and help benefit local charities at the same time?
Our Wills Week campaign will raise funds for three charities which have been nominated by Ashtons Legal staff: Macmillan Cancer Care, the emergency medical charity, Magpas, and Nelson’s Journey, which supports bereaved children and young people.
A partner at Ashtons Legal said: “The implications of not making a Will are that the law will decide how your estate will be distributed and who should care for your dependents. Having a Will in place avoids the confusion and emotional strain which can be placed on loved ones when someone has not made their wishes known.”
“As well as emphasising the importance of making a Will, our Wills Week campaign will raise vital funds for three worthwhile causes, making a lasting difference to the lives of local people.”
Visit our Wills Week page for more information or call us to make an appointment. For each Will prepared, Ashtons Legal will donate £100 to one of the three charities. The scheme is running in all of our seven offices across East Anglia.
