This week’s spotlight is on Wendy Parks, an Associate in our Norwich Family Law team.

What is your role at Ashtons?

Associate Solicitor in the Family Law team.

How long have you been at the firm?

Since 7 August 2023 (15 months).

Where have you worked previously?

I have worked for numerous high street practices in the North East of England before taking a brief career break doing voluntary work in Kenya. I resumed practice in a firm in Essex before arriving at Ashtons.

Who is in your team?

I am in the family team and work alongside Fiona Grosse in the Norwich office.

Do you have any specialisms?

I do family work such as divorce, finances, children and pre/post-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation and separation agreements.

Did you ever consider a different career?

I wanted to be a vet or a psychiatrist, but I’m rubbish at science.

If you could give your younger self some career advice, what would it be?

Be brave! Don’t allow myself to be overshadowed or overlooked and to be fearless!
