Seven new internal appointments at Ashtons Legal

Riding high off stellar plaudits and their best-ever rankings by legal commentators Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500, Ashtons Legal LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Partners, one Senior Associate and a further three new Associates from within the firm.

Promoted to Partner are Joanna Cotgrove, Debbie Holmes and Greg McCurday, Tracy Williamson is now a Senior Associate and Jennifer Beal, Hannah Jones and Emma Nye have been appointed as Associates.

Joanna Cotgrove works in Ashtons’ Family team, Debbie Holmes in Court of Protection and Greg McCurday in Commercial Property. Both Joanna and Greg got mentions in the legal directories, with Chambers and Partners recognising Joanna as an Associate to Watch – clearly something Ashtons’ recognise too – and Greg being noted as a practice head for Commercial Property in Norwich.

New Senior Associate Tracy Williamson is a member of the niche Franchising team and is also recognised by Chambers and Partners as an Associate to Watch. New Associates Jennifer Beal and Emma Nye are Group Support Co-ordinators at Ashtons and manage the firm’s Legal PAs. Like Greg, Hannah Jones works in Commercial Property and assists in banking and finance matters as well.

Although based out of various locations, they all work across Ashtons’ eastern regional offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich.

On route to their new appointments, Joanna, Debbie, Greg, Tracy, Jennifer, Emma and Hannah all completed the firm’s leadership programmes which are delivered internally and an integral part of Ashtons’ staff development strategy.
