Ashtons shortlisted for regional award

Ashtons are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted in The Legal 500 UK 2018 awards for their work with the transport sector.

Partner Tim Ridyard joined Ashtons in early 2017 having worked for a number of years previously and having already set up a thriving practice area which has attracted a number of new clients to the firm.

He provides advice to those seeking to operate HGVs, passenger vehicles (including taxis) and agricultural vehicles. He covers applications or variations of licences, advice on prosecutions by enforcement agencies such as the DVSA, HSE, Environment Agency, Border Force, HRMC, Trading Standards, Local Government or the Police.

The Legal 500 conducts 70,000 interviews per year with in-house counsel, law firms and sets in the UK to pin-point the most capable, expert practitioners and firms operating at the top of their game across a number of different business sectors. The awards are unique in the legal industry as they recognise each element of the profession equally, representing the very best law firms, chambers, silks, in-house lawyers, business leaders and general counsel operating within the UK market.

The winners will be announced at an exclusive event in London in February 2018.
