Ashtons Partner awarded APIL Fellowship
Sharon Allison, a Partner within the Medical Negligence team at Ashtons Legal, has been accredited with a Fellowship by The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL.) The association is made up of 3,300 lawyers who all specialise in injury claims.
Sharon is one of only four legal professionals in East Anglia to currently hold this accreditation.
According to APIL’s website, fellowships are awarded to experienced practitioners who:
- have a high level of technical expertise in personal injury law, including trial procedures
- are competent in the management of a personal injury department
- are recognised by his or her peers as being in a position of professional and intellectual leadership in the field of personal injury law.
Commenting on her achievement, Sharon said “I am delighted to have achieved this accreditation from APIL, who are a fantastic organisation championing the rights of injured people. Accreditation is absolutely essential to the victims of injury to ensure that they have an experienced specialist dealing with their claim in what is a very complex area of the law.”
