Ashtons Legal move to new Ipswich office
Ashtons Legal is pleased to announce their move to a new Ipswich office at Portman House in the town.
Ashtons Legal employ over 400 people in its offices across the East of England, and 100 staff based out of the Ipswich office have moved to Portman House today.
Portman House sits within the heart of the business district on the junction of Princes Street and Portman Road. The unusually-shaped building had previously been converted for office use and has been further adapted by Ashtons to create a modern open working environment with high-quality staff and client meeting spaces in line with Ashtons other main offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Norwich. The building also offers onsite client parking accessible via Portman Road.
Ashtons Legal has long been an Ipswich town centre resident – the firm (previously known as Ashton Graham and Graham & Oldham) was a tenant at Electric House in the town before moving to Waterfront House in 2005, just prior to the regeneration of the whole waterfront area.
James Tarling, CEO of Ashtons says: “We are excited to have made a long-term commitment to the town and region with our move to this prominent building. Portman House provides a better working environment for our staff, designed for the more flexible and collaborative way that we now work, as well as providing excellent facilities for our clients.”
